About the Role:
Join Midas MUELLER as a General Service Technician and become an integral part of our dedicated team in Wheeling, IL. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles while providing top-notch service to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles, including oil changes and tire rotations.
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues, ensuring high-quality service.
- Assist in the installation of new parts and accessories as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about their vehicle's needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
- Collaborate with team members to meet service goals and deadlines.
- Document all services performed and maintain accurate records for each vehicle.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in automotive service or repair.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
